On September 7, the Rome MED Dialogues is landing in Cairo for the fourth Regional Meeting of the year, which this time is co-promoted with The Egyptian Center for Economic Studies while organized in cooperation with King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center.
The event, titled “From the Gulf to the Mediterranean: The Emergence of a New Arch of Synergies on Energy and Climate?“, will bring several Middle East scholars and practitioners together to discuss the role of the MENA region in the European Union’s quest for non-Russian energy resources, to both fulfill a short-term need and to enhance bilateral partnerships and expanding EU-MENA relations long-term. The discussion will centered around the energy revolution and the resources involved, combined with the current global geopolitical policies, tensions and oppportunities.
