The link between religious institutions and the process of secularization in Western societies will be at the center of this Towards MED event, organized in collaboration with the European University Institute and the Florence School of Advanced Studies for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue, in Florence. Key religious leaders belonging to the three largest monotheistic faiths in Europe and the MENA region – Christianity, Islam and Judaism – will attend the event and enrich the debate with their experience and knowledge. Their presence seeks to convey a crucial message about the importance of inter-religious dialogue in fostering peace and stability.
