On July 28 and 29, ISPI and the Geneva Centre for Security Sector Governance (DCAF) held the first in presence MED Regional Meeting since the outset of the pandemic.
Organized in Geneva in cooperation with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the event, which was held under the Chatham house rule, examined the governance of security in Libya, and in particular the dynamics as well as the factors and actors related to infrastructure security, offering European and international experts, Libyan stakeholders, and representatives from the private sector a unique chance to discuss and envision possible avenues for reform and cooperation in this field.
The event was part of the year-long preparatory agenda for the seventh edition of the Rome MED Dialogues, which will take place in Rome from December 2 to December 4, 2021.
