Twenty years after the invasion: a critical juncture for Iraq

On March 2003, then-President George W. Bush announced the beginning of the US military operation in Iraq. Two decades later, the country that emerged from the ashes of the dictatorship continues to face several political, security and economic crises, mainly inherited from the post-2003 era.
