He is a business owner with experience in the Oil & Gas, Energy, and Infrastructure sectors, and as CEO of PetroGas Oil Services, he works to provide world class solutions through the support of a locally talented team in Libya to international Organisations. Prior to his work in Libya, he held a number of commercial positions across varied sectors in UK based businesses. He is an International Business graduate with an ICT background. As a shareholder and board member of PetroGas, a number of private programs have been set-up to support various Libyan NGOs and charity organizations assisting local Libyan communities.

    Vincenzo De Luca took office on 1 February 2016 as Director-General for the Promotion of the Italian Economic System after having served in the same Directorate General as Deputy Director-General and Central Director for the Internationalisation of the Italian Economic System and of the autonomous local authorities (since January 2014). He has been a career diplomat since 1989 and has been given several assignments at the Foreign Ministry and at the diplomatic representations in Khartoum, Tunis, Paris (at the permanent Representation at the OECD) and in Shanghai. He has a long-standing expertise in the internationalisation of the economic system of the public and private sector, both in Central Offices, in the capacity of Diplomatic Advisor of the Ministries of Industry, Transports and Economic Development, and in large corporations like ENI and ENEL, where he served as Vice President for Institutional International Relations. During the past few years, he played a relevant role in the organisation of the EXPO Milano 2015 as President of the Foreign Ministry’s Task Force, capitalising on his experience as Consul General in Shanghai.

    Vincenzo Ercole Salazar Sarsfield is First Counsellor and Head of International Business Development for the Italian Construction Industry at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. In this capacity, he has recently coordinated an interagency working group on the Belt and Road Initiative. He also promotes and leads business missions abroad of the Italian contractors, national champions as well as SME. Previously, he was Deputy Head at the Secretary General Coordination Unit, Office Director for the internationalization of the Italian companies, and Office Director for bilateral relations with North American Countries. He also served his country in the Italian Embassies and Consulates in Egypt, Australia and Mexico.

    Kamel Ghribi has had a long and prestigious career in the oil and petrochemical sector. His first major role was as Vice President of Olympic Petroleum Corporation in New York at the age of 29. At the same time, he held the position of President of Olympic Management in Italy until becoming President of Olympic Energy – a European-based energy company. In 1994, he was President of Attock Oil Company in the United Kingdom, which he sold in 2005 to devote all of his time to his new company GK Investment Holding Group based in Switzerland. GK Investment Holding Group’s core structure is developing new business opportunities, and our investments are heavily biased in favour of Africa and the Middle East.

    Mrs. El Hassan served as the Minister of Finance in Lebanon from 2009 to 2011, the first female in the Arab world to assume such a post. Earlier in her career, she was an Advisor to the Minister of Economy and Trade and a program specialist for the Economic Governance and Pro-Poor portfolio at UNDP Lebanon. In the mid 90’s, she supervised the implementation of expenditure management reforms at the Ministry of Finance. She also served as Project Director at the Prime Minister’s Office, working on the elaboration of the Government’s Economic and Social Reform Agenda under the Paris II and III International Donor Conferences for Lebanon. She currently serves on the advisory committees of the Rafik Hariri University-Business School and the Beirut Arab University-Northern Branch.

    Dr Elham Hassanzadeh is Founder and Managing Director of Energy Pioneers, an advisory firm providing legal and consulting services to international oil and gas companies and financial institutions on their investments and finance initiatives in Iran’s energy sector. She is also a Visiting Research Fellow at the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies. She is a qualified barrister at the Iranian Central Bar Association, a Visiting Fellow at the Global Subsidies Initiative of the International Institute for Sustainable Development and a political economy advisor to the World Bank on Middle East energy market reforms. She was recently featured by Bloomberg Businessweek as the most influential voice in the development of Iran’s oil and gas sector and has been awarded the industry’s prize for the Outstanding Young Entrepreneur of the year. She holds a PhD in Oil and Gas Law and Policy Studies from the Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy, University of Dundee and an LLM in International Commercial Law from the University of Cambridge.
