Andrea Cellino has twenty years of experience in parliamentary work, inter-parliamentary cooperation as well as significant collaborations with international organizations. As of 2015, Mr.Cellino joined the Middle East and North Africa Division of the Geneva Centre for Democratic Control of the Armed Forces (DCAF), as the Head of North Africa desk. From April 2014 to September 2015, he worked with the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine, as Team Leader of the Monitors in Ukraine. From 2009 to 2014, Mr.Cellino sat as the Director of Policy and Planning at the OSCE Mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Prior to that, his work, as a Deputy Secretary General at the NATO Parliamentary Assembly in Brussels, focused on parliaments in the Middle East and North Africa, South Eastern Europe. He joined the NATO Assembly in 1998, as a Committee Director dealing with parliaments in the MENA region. Earlier in his career, Mr. Cellino worked as a policy advisor to the Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Italian Senate. His academic path includes an undergraduate in Political Science at Università degli Studi di Torino and an MA in History and International Relations at UC San Diego.
