Claire Casey is Global Managing Director of the Economist Intelligence Unit’s Public Policy Practice. She manages teams on three continents, generating evidence-based insights to inform internal strategy and external engagement for governments, international institutions, corporations, foundations, and NGOs around the world. Prior to joining the EIU, she founded FP Analytics, the research and analysis division of the FP Group, publisher of Foreign Policy Magazine. At FP, Casey developed a thought leadership platform for clients on issues ranging from aging societies to global economic disruption. Previously, she was Managing Director of Garten Rothkopf, where she built an energy, climate, and economics policy advisory practice serving Fortune 100 corporations. Her work has appeared in the Financial Times, International Economy, Americas Quarterly, the Daily Beast, and Foreign Policy.
