Dalia Ghanem

Resident Scholar, Malcolm H. Kerr Carnegie Middle East Center, Lebanon

Dalia Ghanem is a resident scholar at the Malcolm H. Kerr Carnegie Middle East Center in Beirut. Her  work examines political and extremist violence, radicalization, Islamism, and jihadism with a focus on Algeria. Dr. Ghanem pursued her BA at the University of Algier, followed by and MA and PhD at the University of Versailles-Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines. She is the author of several publications on Algeria and has been a guest speaker on these issues in numerous conferences and a regular commentator in Arab and international media.
