Takei Shunshuke is the current State Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan. 

He was elected to the House of Representatives for the first time in December 2012. In 2021-2022, he acted as Deputy Chairperson of the Diet Affairs Committee for the Liberal Democratic Party. 

He graduated from Faculty of Letters, Chuo University and then completed a Master’s program at the Graduate School of Public Management, Waseda University.
